Mount Gemba, 25 km

Gemba is one of the highest mountains (1491 m) and one of the most beautiful places in Transcarpathia. In summer, on its summit, colorful carpets of grasses cover the ground and the mountain itself is surrounded by dense beech forest. In winter, Gemba welcomes visitors to the longest Ukrainian ski route, approximately 3.5 km, to which 8 lifts lead at once. On the northern slopes of the mountain is one of the most famous waterfalls in Ukraine - Shypit.

Shypit Waterfall, 30 km

Shypit Waterfall is a true marvel of nature, hidden amongst mighty mountains and forests, 30 km from Mizhhir`ya, near the village of Pylypets. It fascinates with its picturesque cascades of water falling down from a height of 14 meters. You can admire the watershed at any time of the year, even in winter, when the steep rocks are covered with snow. However, the most beautiful waterfall in springtime, because at that time the snow melts and makes it even more stormy and full of water. Since 1993, there has been an annual informal festival called Shypit.

Lake Synevyr, 30 km

The pearl of Transcarpathia is the high mountain lake Synevyr, which is 30 km away . It is the largest and deepest high altitude lake in Ukraine with an area of ​​about 7 hectares, which was formed 10 thousand years ago at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level. Synevyr is rightly considered the most valuable natural treasure of Synevyr National Nature Park and is one of the calling cards of the Ukrainian Carpathians.

Palanok Castle, 95 km

One of the most beautiful castles in Transcarpathia is Palanok in Mukachevo. It is almost completely preserved and is a landmark of the city. The oldest, Upper castle of the fourteenth century. It was reconstructed in the 17th century and is located at the very top of the mountain. This is where the scenic views of Mukachevo and the surrounding blossom in all their glory. At 6 m below, on the terrace stands the Middle Castle of the XVII century. Another 10 m below is the Lower Castle, whose construction was built in 1670.
On the territory of Palanok Castle there is a well, where, according to legend, if you throw a coin and make a wish, all your dreams come true.
